Job Details: Summary: Conducts standard operational and systems training. Job Responsibilities: Provides instruction on Standard Operating Procedures and JCAHO standards related to front-end systems and processes. Conducts end-user training for a variety of business systems including Scheduling, Registration and Insurances, Chart Tracking and Managed Care. Administers performance metrics competencies, provides end-user feedback and assists in developing learning plans for students below standards. Establishes and maintains system database to support training. Participates in the evaluation and implementation of systems changes. Develops post-training support plans to expedite learning transference from the classroom to the work site; conducts post-training monitoring to ensure appropriate transference has occurred. Participates in the development of training programs. Provides ongoing feedback on traditional, independent, online and/or blended learning approaches and makes recommendations for changes or enhancements. Performs other duties as assigned Education: Bachelor's Degree in Education, Health Service Administration or related field. Training experience may offset degree requirement. Experience: Three years experience in patient scheduling, patient registration, insurance collection or reimbursements. Formal EPIC Registration Scheduling, training, or Train the Trainer may offset experience requirement. Computer aptitude and working knowledge of Microsoft Office products required. Demonstrated advanced communication skills. Licensure/Certification/Registration: Certification in EPIC products by Epic Systems Corporation (Madison, WI) required within 18 months of hire. Yearly re-certification in EPIC products also required. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and orally communicate up to 6 hours daily.
